BBC News on New Orleans Musicians

Marking the two year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina the BBC has a multi-part story on displaced musicians from the Big Easy, asking if August 29, 2005 was "the day the music died?" Their coverage includes the stories of how Katrina affected the lives of six musicians, and Katrina as muse.

I fear the New Orleans I wanted to see and hear is now gone.

I just discovered your blog. It is simply gorgeous.

Yes, I wonder the same thing about NOLA, and truly wish I had savored it more the last time I was there. I am also stupified that the government doesn't comprehend the national and international treasure of culture-making (artistic, cross-cultural, etc.) that has been the past and present history of New Orleans.

Thank you for the comments about my blog, they're much appreciated.
